What is a hair topper?

A topper is a hair piece that sits on top of the head and covers a specific area of thinning, rather than the whole head like a wig. Your own hair is blended through it, so the result looks like fuller, thicker hair rather than a piece. It's often the first option women look at when thinning starts to show at the part line or crown.

Why the hair in your topper matters

Many toppers on the market are synthetic, or made from processed human hair that's been stripped and coated in a factory. They can look shiny and flat next to real hair, and processed hair tends to tangle and wear out within months.

The process

1. Private consultation, in our Henley Beach studio or online via Zoom. We talk through your hair loss, your lifestyle and the look you want.
2. Design. Colour, density, length and base are chosen for you.
3. Fitting. Adelaide clients have their topper cut, styled and fitted in the studio. Interstate and international clients: we work with your own stylist so it blends seamlessly.
4. Aftercare. Every piece comes with simple at-home care instructions.

Is a topper right for you?
